So, I just got back from grocery shopping and am feeling pretty good. I only spent $51.37 and saved $18.61 for a total savings of 27%. YAHTZEE! The food should last me awhile, too. Lots of meat. A few veggies, some bread, stuff for lunches, milk, soda… usual stuff. I always enjoy wandering around the grocery store, trying to figure out what I’m going to consume over the next week or two (or, somewhat in this case, three). I think about future meals, what stuff I can eat together, what I can get extra of, in case I need to make something new or different in a pinch. Then, eating the food. OH BOY! Eating is so much fun. Bulimics got it going on… Binge, Purge… sweet idea.* Anyhow, I think you should all go eat a nice big meal now, homemade preferably, but something… And, if you can’t come up with anything, let me know, maybe I can make something tasty for everyone. Always nice to have good company to eat with and the more, the merrier.
*I don’t condone eating disorders and think bulimia is the opposite of a sweet idea. A sour one, indeed.
Digitize for posterity. Something I’ve always longed to do is digitize all of my writings and pictures so that I can have a copy forever. I realized tonight that I have a box full of pictures and a photo album full of blank pages. It’s time to fix that. But, as I began trying to separate and organize the pictures into groups, I got sentimental. I remember every single good memory associated with the pictures. I look past drama, sadness, regret, and pain to smiles, happiness, delight, and joy. I’m so thankful for everything I’ve ever gone through and everyone I’ve ever met.
I’m going to try to scan in a copy of each picture before I put them away for another 5 years.
For now, I just think it’s funny how you remember the good times.

Andrew: “Why do you have your shirt buttoned up all the way?”
Sean: “I don’t want to spill Mad Dog on my Skynyrd shirt.”

“The sulfites are messing with my brain!!”
Always an interesting night with Sean. For more information on sulfites, go here.

This was the beer of the week, Gordon Biersch Blonde Bock… Well, it’s more of a Beer of the Every-Couple-Days, but that doesn’t have the same ring to it. It was pretty tasty, but we haven’t developed a rating system yet. Meetings of the Beer of the Week Club happen… whenever Brian, Dave and I can drive to get it and then consume a couple bottles of a different variety of beer. Cheers!
